The Peninsula United Methodist Church’s Outreach Committee hosts either an annual AARF (Awareness of Animal Rescue Facilities) tour or an AARF drive in the month of October.  The goal of the tour is to learn about the facilities and the wonderful work that the employees and volunteers do to help our fellow furry friends. The goal of the drive is to collect donations for the shelters.  Thanks to the generosity of church members and friends, the Humane Society of Greater Akron and One of a Kind Pets facilities both receive donated items from their “wish lists”.
