Election Day Dinner on Tuesday, November 3

A longtime Peninsula community tradition!  The Peninsula United Methodist Church Election Day dinner is thought to have started in the late 1800s when an oyster stew lunch was prepared for local farmers who made their way to the Village to vote.  Over the years the meal has evolved into the well-known turkey dinner it is today, with homemade stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, coleslaw, cranberry sauce and your choice of apple or pumpkin pie.

Reserve your meals for the following pick-up times: 

LUNCH: 11:30-noon, noon-12:30, 12:30-1:00

DINNER: 4:00-4:30, 4:30-5:00, 5:00-5:30, 5:30-6:00, or 6:00-6:30.

PRICE:  $14.00 per meal. Pay at pick-up by cash, check or Venmo.

TO ORDER: Please call the church (330-657-2567) and leave your name and phone number.  Someone will call you back to get your complete order.  Or email the church (PeninsulaM@TWC.com) with your name, phone number, number of meals, choice of apple or pumpkin pie and your preferred pick-up time.

Order early! We can only accommodate 40 meals every half hour, so popular time slots fill up quickly.  Thank you all for your support of this storied tradition!
